I've enjoyed gardening, orchid growing, and photography for years. A major part of my love of these hobbies is the exchange of plants and sharing photos among family and friends.
Most of the photographs are taken of my orchid collection and garden at home in Chesapeake, Virginia. Other favorite locales for botanical subjects include a farm in Appomattox, Virginia, the Norfolk Botanical Garden, and White's Garden Center.
Recent awards include 1st place in the Macro Photography category at the 19th World Orchid Conference, Miami, 2008, and a 2nd place at the 2009 Aperture Show at Gallery on the York.
